Compact Discs and DVDs are perfect items to buy used because they don’t wear out. A CD or DVD sounds or looks the same after the millionth play as it did when it was new. By purchasing used instead of new, you can get twice the music or movies for half the price—without sacrificing quality.


Is shopping online at The CD Exchange safe?

Can I place an order without a credit card?

Yes. We accept PayPal and money orders if you prefer not to use a credit card. You’ll see these options during checkout.


Will you sell or share my personal information?

Never. We will NOT sell or give out your personal information, including your email address.


How long have you been in business?

The CD Exchange has been selling used CDs online since 1994—long before most people had heard of the World Wide Web. We began selling DVDs in 2000.


Where do your CDs and DVDs come from?

All inventory comes from customers who trade in their CDs and DVDs for cash or store credit.


How do I know the CDs & DVDs aren’t scratched?

Every disc is visually inspected and thoroughly cleaned before sale. Most are indistinguishable from brand new.
Because they’re used, some may have extremely minor, barely noticeable surface marks—but all discs are 100% guaranteed to play perfectly.
If your CD or DVD skips, contact us within 30 days for a prompt refund.


Do the CDs include booklets and back covers?

Yes—always.
DVDs include the original cover sleeve insert as well.


Do CDs and DVDs come in cases?

U.S. Orders
All CDs & DVDs ship in like-new cases with all original artwork and inserts included—perfect for gift-giving.

International Orders
To reduce shipping costs, CDs & DVDs ship without cases.
All original inserts and booklets are always included.
Replacement cases are usually available locally for less than the added shipping cost.

Yes! All items are carefully selected for excellent condition.
If something doesn’t play perfectly, just contact us within 30 days for a refund or exchange.


How often do you update your website?

We add new arrivals daily.
